It is certainly not the most famous typical product from the Chianti area, but in this territory too, where most of the land is occupied by wooded areas, truffle, in particular Scorzone black summer truffle, is among the main ingredients on the tables of the Chianti people, owing both to its delicacy, and to its excellent pairing with Chianti and Chianti Classico wines produced in the area, as well as in combination with other typical local produce, cheeses, cold cuts, and extra virgin olive oil.<\/p>\n
